About Maria

Many of my core memories as a child involve creating art - whether it’s opening up a box of crayons on Christmas Day, painting at an easel in preschool, or coloring in my favorite coloring books. I have ALWAYS loved art.

In college I took a few art classes, drawing classes, and painting classes. That’s when my love was reignited. I began painting and selling my art in the early 2000’s but never took it seriously. I decided to pursue a career in writing and social media marketing instead.

After I was diagnosed with cancer in 2021 I went back to painting to help with my healing journey. Painting allowed me to just stay in the moment and express all that I was feeling, which was alot - to say the least!

I am excited to continue my artistic journey, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the ever-evolving tapestry of visual storytelling. Whether on canvas or in pixels, I'm committed to creating art that not only reflects my vision but resonates with others. Art is my life, and I look forward to sharing this passion with the world.
